To better help you understand the design & installation process of a landscaping and or hardscaping project, here are some frequently asked questions that may be of some assistance. Q. How can we see your work? A. We have posted pictures on our web site in relation to various landscape elements. (See Services & Portfolio or Before & After ) We can also arrange a meeting with you to give you a tour of completed projects that relate to your landscaping needs. Q. What do the plans show? A. A Master Landscape Plan shows a scaled birds eye view of your house & property. Cascade Design Group will also include any existing trees, structures, and / or any other objects that are relevant to the designs requirements. The concept plans will have preliminary outlines of hardscaping & landscaping. After the client approves certain design features, they will be more clearly illustrated on a Master Landscape Plan complete with details, plant symbols and their names, and other construction notes. The cost of a plan is dependent on what components are involved. Whether you want a landscape makeover of just add a small patio area with perennials, Cascade Design Group will give you a free estimate for a plan following the initial meeting. Q. What is your installation supervision service? A. The contractors we suggest have been working with us for many years. On-site design changes are expected because each job site poses unique challenges. Minor changes are usually made by each contractor and approved by the owner. Cascade Design Group is always available for additional design consultation if major changes and / or additions are necessary. Q. How long does the installation process take? A. Most projects will take about two to three weeks for installation. However, the larger the project, the longer it will take to complete and likewise for smaller projects.
